Ultimate Vision
ok first of all who ever directed that video needs to cut down on the word vision. It is absence how many times it was used. I agree with the fact that goals are important , wether you setting goals for finishing school, getting promoted at work or even getting things done around the house, you need goals in order to achieve something. Also by setting goals and completing them gives you a feeling of actually having a productive day, and the feeling is great. My personal goal is to graduate next May and attend Graduate school. Unlike most people at Baruch college im more focused on having a job i love and making enough money for splurging every once in a while. I think you should set goals to be happy with your career and family. and if being filthy rich makes you happy set a goal to be filthy rich

Hi,Breath Ezzey( like that nickname :),
I think you've a great goal in front of you.Going to grad school is the next step for many BBA students, however, people get carried away with everyday life activities and find themselves abandoning their education. It is cool that you feel the importance of the continuing your education, and that you wish no have no break in between your degrees. Good luck with your ambitions whether they are in our alma mater or somewhere else.

I really think that you have a great vision about your future. You need alot of motivation to continue your studies once you have your bachelor's degree. Because people often get caught up with other activities that are also part of their lives. Like job, family to start, etc. It really becomes hard to keep one committed to complete his/her education to the highest level. Me, personally have started to have second thoughts about going for my masters. I'm starting to consider having to start up my own business and move forward with that. The motivation and drive to get that master's degree is not that great as it was an year ago. I hope you remain committed to achieve your vision about your future.
I agree that we should focus on the happines of life when we set out visions.
However, some people who are already working in real world say money rules at the end....whatever u enjoy requires money and the more you have, the better it is.
these statements makes me wonder the meaning of life.
Hahahaha, did you get the term filthy rich from my intro or someone else actually used it, and who please? Read my last blog and tell me what you think. But remember, Professor said to support peoples visions :) I definitely like your way of thinking about finding the balance between family and ambition.I just wish it would be more obvious how to do that. In the world we live in is not easy to obtain a balance.
Hey, I think you are right when you says setting goals is suppose to be happy with your family and work. I know a lot of people, including me, are always want to graduate with master and have a job. We don't really get deep enough for the ultimate vision of our life. Working the whole life is chanllenge and fun. But besides working, we still have a life going on here. I think we should place more value on life. Or I can put this, the ultimate goal of your working life is making your life more stable, much happier than ever. We can't dismiss the real life, working just a part of it.
Hi,
Your plan is great, unlike many other student who are graduating, there dream is to finish and get the job they love. I also intend to finish my undergraduate school and immediately start my master while working at the same time.
